We met Eric at Sam's club to get his tires rotated and to have dinner together in their little deli. We caravaned home (the kids in the truck this time) when we were done and the kids kept waving and giving me the I love you sign all the way home. It was so cute. I love those little guys, and that big guy too. This picture is actually from a recent trip to the dinosaur museum.

He stands!
Bryce stood up all by himself this afternoon! The older kids and I were working at the kids table and I looked over just as he finished pulling himself up. He was so proud of himself, just as the kids and I were. I thought for sure he was going to fall over since he was so excited and jittery because of it, but he didn't. I was happy I was able to get a few pictures. He stood there for a long time till he finally just started wimpering because he didn't know how to get down.

We love Bear Lake!

We made the most of our last free weekend before school started this past weekend. We went camping up at Bear Lake. It is so beautiful there. I love being in the tree filled mountains of Beaver mountain and the Lake was the perfect temperature. Every day was "beautiful" as Amber said. There's just something about being in the outdoors that is just so calming. Camping is always sucky sleep and unpleasant to prepare for and clean up after--but that is never on the mind when we're out there or when we think of it before and after.
We love going to Bear Lake, we've made it a yearly summer camping trip since before we had kids. The water is so blue, clear and inviting. This was Bryce's inaugural year and I think he took well to it.

Amber's last week of Freedom
Amber is starting Kindergarten on Monday--so this is our last week to do whatever we want whenever we want. Monday we all hit a Bees game (thank goodness for Harmon's family dollar night), Tues we went to the aquirium to celebrate shark week and get some cool face paintings. In case you can't tell, Amber has a Mommy and baby seahorse, Colin got Bruce the great white shark and Bryce got Nemo. Wednesday we went swimming. Today we're going to play at Chuck E. Cheese and tomorrow we've got a playdate at the Zoo planned.

Eric's broken finger

Eric broke his pinkie finger a few weeks ago. The Dr. that saw him gave him a pinkie splint and referred him to an orthopedic surgeon. It looks like that appointment is going to happen next week. In the meantime, Eric has taken pictures with his gimp finger, we got them back today--here's a glimpse of the CD of pictures.

A Day at Lagoon

Have you had enough?
Colin's new do
We were at the park the other day and Colin just looked so hot with his thick hair. So that night all of the males got haircuts. We already sent out pictures of our littlest guy's cut, so here's Buddy Boy's picture. Amber said he looked like he was dressing like Jesus because of the way he put his pajamas on (he put his head and arm through the arm hole and didn't want to change it--I'm just surprised it fit.)
Amber's thoughts on what a heart does
We were taking a walk the other day and Amber was running ahead of us. At one point she stopped and said "You know what I can feel? I can feel my heart beeping." Adorable.
This picture was taken at the parade at the Freedom Festival on the 4th of July. All of the princesses came by and Amber ran out on the route faster than any girl to see them all--and faster than I could grab my camera. Lucky for us all Snow White was lagging behind the rest of the princesses, so Mom was able to catch a picture of Amber and Snow White--and who's that other girl? I don't know--she ran over and jumped in the picture as I was taking it. Oh well.
Bryce's favorite pose
Here's a picture of little Brycy boy in his favorite pose. Someday he'll get his legs to work and he'll be off. But in the meantime, he's content squirming everywhere he goes--unfortuntaly alot of times that squirming gets him stuck under furniture, and although that's cute, he doesn't like it a whole lot.
Let's see how this goes
So we got high speed yesterday. It's amazingly fast, and I just know I'm going to have a hard time giving it up when the 6 month promotion is up. So I thought I'd try doing this blog while we have it to see if I can keep it updated for family and friends to grow with us.
