I love my Family!

We met Eric at Sam's club to get his tires rotated and to have dinner together in their little deli. We caravaned home (the kids in the truck this time) when we were done and the kids kept waving and giving me the I love you sign all the way home. It was so cute. I love those little guys, and that big guy too. This picture is actually from a recent trip to the dinosaur museum.

He stands!

Bryce stood up all by himself this afternoon! The older kids and I were working at the kids table and I looked over just as he finished pulling himself up. He was so proud of himself, just as the kids and I were. I thought for sure he was going to fall over since he was so excited and jittery because of it, but he didn't. I was happy I was able to get a few pictures. He stood there for a long time till he finally just started wimpering because he didn't know how to get down.

Kung Fu Panda!

Colin got a Kung Fu Panda bandanna from Tim. He loves it, he even sleeps with it on. I think it's so cute.

We love Bear Lake!

We made the most of our last free weekend before school started this past weekend. We went camping up at Bear Lake. It is so beautiful there. I love being in the tree filled mountains of Beaver mountain and the Lake was the perfect temperature. Every day was "beautiful" as Amber said. There's just something about being in the outdoors that is just so calming. Camping is always sucky sleep and unpleasant to prepare for and clean up after--but that is never on the mind when we're out there or when we think of it before and after.

We love going to Bear Lake, we've made it a yearly summer camping trip since before we had kids. The water is so blue, clear and inviting. This was Bryce's inaugural year and I think he took well to it.

Amber's First Day of Kindergarten, Aug. 4, 2008

Amber started Kindergarten today, and she is so excited. The first picture is from when she went in last week for beginning of school assessment with her teacher, Mrs. Bickmore.
